BCSDT is a fully certified search team located in Northeast Ohio. We deploy at the request of local, state and federal law enforcement. Because we are an independent organization, we have the ability to deploy wherever our services are needed.
CERTIFIED AND INSURED
All BCSDT K9s and their handlers have completed a series of certifications in order to deploy on search missions. Our organization accepts any nationally recognized law enforcement canine certification. Handlers must obtain their National Association of Search and Rescue SARTECH II certification or equivalent. They must also complete series of National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses.
PERSONALIZED APPROACH
When we are contacted by law enforcement to assist in locating a missing person, we carefully choose the canines best suited for the situation. Our dogs are certified in various specialties: area search, tracking, cadaver land and cadaver water. We are generally able to deploy within 30 minutes of a request. We never charge for our services.
